4 Keys to Successful Article Marketing

Article marketing is one of the most important components in any Internet marketing strategy. Many people think that it is not worth the time it takes to write articles and wonder if, in fact, they can do it. In order to make it in the business of article marketing, you need to be writing and submitting two or three articles per day. This may seem like a lot of work at first, but if you keep in mind the following tips, the work itself is not that difficult and can be a very successful branch in any marketing campaign.

.    Keywords and Titles: You must incorporate two things in your title to make this work. One is that you include your niche keywords so people can easily find your articles no matter where you submit them to. Also, your title needs to be memorable. You should assume that for each keyword there are going to be hundreds and maybe even thousands of other articles using the same keywords you have chosen. The key then is to make your titles pop and be noticed.

.  Length of Articles: This is a very important one because you have to give your reader enough information where they take away something from the article but do not feel bored or lectured too. So with this in mind, your articles should run about four hundred words in length. They can be somewhat shorter or longer, but should not vary from that number too much.

.    Places to Submit: One of the most popular places to submit articles is, of course, ezinearticles.com.  They are the standard which all other article submission services are held to; but at the same time they are not the only place. If you Google article submissions, you get hundreds of other services to submit to as well. So with that said, EZA is a great place to submit to but don't put all of your eggs in one basket.

.    To Submit Automatically or Manual: This is really a personal choice, but I will present benefits for each and then leave the decision ultimately up to you. If you go with an automatic system, whether it is a web service or done software, it will save time for you by posting your articles on several article submission pages simultaneously.

But at the same time, submitting manually has the advantage of being much more personal and also gives you the ability to build relationships with people that read your articles by getting on the forums and talking to them about what they read. A lot of submission sites have a space to leave comments on articles and these comments can be a valuable resource. They will offer feedback on your writing, and more importantly, provide you with prospective customers.

So there are a lot of ways to go about submitting and all of them can work for you if you keep these tips in mind and work at it. To run a successful article marketing submission campaign takes a little work at first, but is very much worth it.  I hope to read a ton of your articles soon, and don't forget to fill out those resource boxes!
